1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Driviko mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

The App provides driving activity tracking, trip recording, expense management, and related vehicle usage features.

The App may optionally display engine and vehicle telemetry data obtained from compatible third-party On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) devices. Such data is accessed in a read-only manner and is provided for informational purposes only.

The App does not control, modify, or operate vehicle systems and does not provide mechanical, automotive repair, or professional diagnostic services.

3. Third-Party OBD Devices

The App may be compatible with certain third-party On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) devices. The App provider does not manufacture, sell, distribute, or control such hardware devices unless explicitly stated.

The App operates strictly in a read-only manner and does not write to, modify, or control any vehicle systems, electronic control units (ECUs), or safety mechanisms.

Any OBD device is an independent third-party product and is used at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the device is properly installed, compatible with your vehicle, and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable laws.

Vehicle data displayed within the App is provided for informational purposes only. The App provider does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of data obtained through third-party devices.

The App provider is not responsible for vehicle malfunction, damage, performance issues, data inaccuracies, or personal injury arising from the installation, use, misuse, or malfunction of any third-party OBD device.

4. Payment, Upgrades, and Usage Limits

The App is free to use up to defined usage limits (such as number of sessions or tracked distance). Once these limits are reached, a Driviko Premium subscription is required to continue using the App in full. Without an active subscription, the App enters a limited mode where existing data remains accessible but map previews and adding new data are unavailable.

Usage limits, pricing, and feature availability may be modified at any time, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.

All payments are processed through the applicable app store platform (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play). Purchases, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the terms and policies of the respective platform provider.

Payments are generally non-refundable once processed by the platform provider. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis, for example where a technical issue with the App has prevented normal use. Any refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable platform provider and applicable law.

You are responsible for reviewing pricing information before completing any purchase.

5. Driviko Premium Subscription

Driviko Premium is available in the following plans:

Monthly: Renews automatically each month.
Annual: Renews automatically each year.

A free trial is available to first-time subscribers only. If you do not cancel before the free trial period ends, your subscription will automatically begin and payment will be charged to your account.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, or upon conversion from a free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings (iOS) or Google Play Account Settings (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for ensuring that use of the App does not distract you while driving. The App must not be used in a manner that violates traffic laws or endangers safety.

7. No Professional Advice

Information provided through the App, including driving metrics and vehicle telemetry data, is for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional mechanical or automotive advice. Always consult a qualified professional for vehicle diagnosis and repair.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to vehicle damage, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of revenue, or personal injury arising from the use of the App.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services, including cloud infrastructure, analytics providers, or platform services. The App provider is not responsible for the operation, availability, or policies of such third-party services.

10. Termination

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. The App provider may discontinue or update the App, or remove it from app stores, at its discretion. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes or discontinuation.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
